Kendra Hall, LMSW
Kendra comes to Dunn & Associates with a commitment to patient advocacy. She ensures that her clients receive the resources they deserve and are cared for with dignity and respect throughout the guardianship and conservatorship process. Kendra understands the importance of fostering positive, lasting relationships with local hospitals, nursing and assisted living facilities, and her clients’ loved ones.
Kendra received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kendra has extensive social work experience in both clinical and outpatient settings. Before joining Dunn & Associates, Kendra worked as a court representative with the Jefferson County Probate Court, where she assessed individuals at risk of financial exploitation and medical neglect. She worked as a clinical social worker in a medical setting at UAB’s 1917 Clinic, working with individuals living with HIV, connecting them to crucial resources to address homelessness, mental health needs, and substance use disorder. She also worked at Children’s of Alabama’s Emergency Department, responding to trauma, and providing crisis intervention, safety assessments and family mediation. Kendra’s long-standing interest in serving others is evidenced by her joining several AmeriCorps organizations immediately after college, including working with Teach for America-Detroit as a physics teacher and working with Impact Alabama where she advocated for communities across the state who lacked access to healthcare, education, and financial opportunities.

Anna Dozier
Anna Dozier is a dedicated law clerk at Dunn and Associates, where she supports the firm across various areas, including estate administrations, guardianships, and conservatorships. She is known for her willingness to assist wherever needed and her commitment to client service.
A Nashville native, Anna earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee — Knoxville. She is currently in her third year (3L) at Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, pursuing her Juris Doctor. During law school, Anna has distinguished herself as a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and the Alabama Student Bar Association.
Anna joined Dunn and Associates in March 2024 during her first year of law school. Initially focusing on estate planning and administrations, she has since developed a specialization in Medicaid and Social Security matters. In this role, she helps clients navigate the complexities of public benefit applications and ensures they receive the support they need.
Anna is proud to be part of the team at Dunn and Associates and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of the individuals and families she serves.
E.J. Turner
E.J. Turner is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and a proud graduate of Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama, where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude and a Master of Business Administration.
Before joining Dunn & Associates, E.J. honed his commitment to public service and advocacy through his work in political campaign leadership and municipal government. These experiences strengthened his dedication to serving others and laid a strong foundation for his legal career.
E.J. is currently a third-year law student at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. He serves as a law clerk at Dunn & Associates, where he supports the firm’s work by assisting with accounting, case management, and document drafting.
His personal experiences with family members facing the uncertainties of health-related challenges bring a deep sense of compassion and purpose to his work at Dunn & Associates. This background fuels his passion for client advocacy and ensures that each case he touches is handled with care and empathy.
Nichole Singleton
Nichole Singleton is a graduate student at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB), currently in her final year of study. Before pursuing a Master of Social Work degree, Nichole established a successful career spanning over two decades as an internal auditor in the health insurance industry. She transitioned into the field of social work to focus on her passion for helping individuals navigate complex personal and healthcare challenges.
In her current role as an intern at Dunn & Associates, Nichole collaborates directly with clients, family members, and hospital staff to provide advocacy and support. She is dedicated to advancing equitable access to high-quality healthcare and essential resources. Nichole is committed to ensuring that clients and caregivers are well-informed about their rights and options regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance, and providing support throughout the guardianship and conservatorship process. Passionate about making a meaningful impact, Nichole is excited to contribute to a team that empowers and supports the clients served by Dunn & Associates.
Jessi Hilyer
Jessi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Huntingdon College, where she was also a student-athlete, competing in both indoor and beach volleyball. She is currently gaining professional experience as a legal administrative assistant, where her responsibilities include managing case files, drafting legal documents, scheduling appointments, and supporting attorneys with day-to-day administrative tasks. In this role, Jessi's passion for helping others shines through as she works diligently to ensure that clients' needs are met with care and precision.
Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are key strengths she brings to her legal work, ensuring that every document and task is handled with the highest level of professionalism. Jessi also understands the importance of teamwork—whether on the volleyball court or in the office—and she thrives in collaborative environments where communication, trust, and mutual support drive success. With plans to attend law school in the future, Jessi is laying the foundation for a career in law built on a passion for service and a commitment to excellence.
